The Ramadan Series is a small collection of art prints that is intended to act as a deco simultaneously an everyday reminder for us Muslims.
Masjid Nabawi and Kaaba is an illustration done in pencil (first) and watercolour. As a mix media artist, I choose to use only these 2 to show that sometimes “less is more”.
In worship, it’s not about the quantity but the quality. It’s about consistency.
On another note, returning to watercolour - the first medium I use when I started painting - is like returning to Allah. I choose to return to Allah again and again. Like how I will always turn to watercolour and pencil for comfort.
